I'm on a roll

I'm back and so soon. Crazy I know. We've been crazy ourselves and are so excited about this next month. But I'm getting ahead of myself 'cause we've had a really fun July so far.

We went to a concert at the Santa Barbara Bowl. My Morning Jacket was the band. If you haven't heard of them check them out. I didn't know any of their stuff going in but really enjoyed it.

But the most excited ever about this... Our almost new condo! We are still in escrow and will be for a few more weeks, but we can hardly stop planning.
What are going to change, life in a new town... It's just so crazy.

And before the month is over we are heading up to Idaho to see this cuteness! I'm so excited to see all of my family! It will be a really special weekend for this little girls Baby Blessing.

Summer Lovin' - June

Dodger season is here, and even though it's a sad season we have a few games schedule. We got to go to our first game of the season with Amy and Derick. The best part was it was Kurtis' first game and it was fire works night. It was a great night even though they lost. We got to see the Dodgers hit a home run (too bad it was too late to even really matter), Kurtis dancing with his #1 Fan foam finger all night, and fireworks!

We have another game later in August and are hoping it's a better game for the Dodgers, but I'm sure it will be just as fun.

We got to spend time with our dads on Father's Day. It was nice to spend time with both our families. We usually split our holidays between Los Angeles and Ventura. This holiday worked out really well. We had a yummy lunch with the Pikulas at Derick and Amy's, and then headed us for a steak dinner in Ventura.

And finally June ended with us putting in an offer on a condo in Playa Del Rey and a late night run to Tito's Tacos.

Our offer was accepted and now we are in the process of getting final loan approval. It's going to be a super busy summer with road trips, hopefully closing escrow, exams, concerts and sporting events. Just hoping we can fit in some beach time.
