Dodger Dogs + 1 LBS Burgers

Loreal had her 21st Birthday! Some of us kids took a quick surprise trip to spend the weekend with her. We had some miles to cross so Damon and I flew up Friday afternoon, rented a car and drove up with Jarom and Roxanna. We made a lot of really great memories, and bowling night provided some of the best. Loreal is quite the character and getting to see her in her own element with her friends was really fun. She's always been fun, but she's the life of the party up there in Rexburg, ID.

We made a stop at Mesa Falls and what started out as a light snow quickly became a flurry of snow all around us. We had a lot of fun. Frozen but good times. We had all the weather we could handle... sun, wind, snow, rain, and slush. All within a three day period.

We made some extra special time for family and took some time to attend our Cousin Mason's baptism and Baby Quinn's Blessing. It's always really nice to see family you don't really get to see at all, but my personal favorites are Jess, Cameron (her husband), and Cameron's Mom.

Ethan took us to Big Jud's and did the "Single Challenge"

While out running one morning I way some signs in out neighborhood for BRENTWOOD GLEN DAY (our neighborhood). So, we called Elaine (Damon's sister) and she brought the girls over to check it out while John (her husband) was at Youth Conference with Daniel (her son).

They had airbrush body painting, hair color spray, one of those balloon guys, horses the kids could ride, and Jolly Jumps. Some how Elaine got dragged into one. It was funny just watching the kids try to figure out why there was an adult in there with them.

What's Spring time with out a Dodger Dog at a Dodger game. Damon bought great tickets, matching hats, and all the snacks I could handle. This was our first Saturday together all day (tax season finally being over) and it was the best...
Other than the fact that the Dodger's lost. Had they of won we would have bought jersey's... maybe next time. We have a whole season to catch a winning game.
Later we meet up with Elaine and the girls for dinner... Cafe Rio. I initially thought I hadn't been there before (the ones in LA just opened up), but once we got there I realized my Cousin Jess had taken me there the last time I went to Logan, UT to visit them.

Colette and I have "Tea Time" and pretend to be chef's when I come up... telling? I don't know but we sure do have a lot of fun.

Headed to the Aquarium of the Pacific for Good Friday/Day off.

Colette and I had the most fun running around, but especially loved the rays and sharks you can touch.

Us!!! From the beginning...

Birthday Flowers from Damon

Here's my attempt at keeping my families blog. So far this Pikula family only consists of Damon and Myself, so it shouldn't be too hard. I haven't been taking too many pictures, so these few will have to do.

My birthday is in January and Damon sent me the most beautiful bouquet of flowers for my Birthday. It was the first time I'd ever had flowers delivered to me. What a sweet and special suprise.
Gavin about to eat pig intestine at Korean BBQ

As a long standing tradition we went out to dinner with AJ and Gav for my birthday. AJ found a row of Korean BBQ places by her work in Gardena, so we tried one out. It was good, but the best/worst part was all the gross things they had on their "all you can eat" menu. Cow Tongue, mussles, pig intestine... GROSS! The guys really liked the mussles, and we all tried the Cow Tongue, but only Gav was brave enough to try the intestine.
Such a good night of memories.
My Bridal Shower
My new Sister-in-laws, Amy and Elaine, threw me the best Bridal Shower ever. It was such a perfect day. Elaine made quit the feast with salad, fruit, dips, sandwhiches, and fondue for dessert. So Yummy!
Nancy, Chelsea, Amy, Me, Britt, Mo, Anne, and Laurel
Just a few of the Mar Vista ward girls who came out to party. We had such a good time, and I am so greatful for all these girls.
